Never underestimate the power of the brows…

Brow tattoo & tattoo removal

  • The full brow tattoo can be performed in different styling techniques to suit your desired outcome.

This appointment is for any clients who have never had their brows tattooed before, or require your brows to be redone/ reshaped/ corrected after 2 plus years since initial tattoo.

    We specialise in;

•Feather micro-blading, a hair stroke technique to mimic natural hair growth that fills, corrects, shapes, thicken and enhances your natural brow/face shape. We can add shading to give a denser shadow behind your hair strokes if desired.

•Shading, also known as powder brow, a technique where we shade your brow shape in to mimic a fuller 'penciled in' brow. We can ombre the inner corners for a softened look, and even add some micro-blade hair strokes for a 3d effect.

•Solid brow, a full shading in of the brow for a bolder effect.

Micro-blade/feather brows last up to 2 years, with a retouch required at the 12-18 month mark.

  • Ursk's tattoo removal/reduction is performed with a Q-switched Nd YAG laser which is considered the 'gold standard' in tattoo reduction technology.

Q-switch refers to the amount of pulsed light applied at a certain speed, enabling the laser to 'shatter' tattoo ink within the skin without causing destruction to the surrounding skin.

The Q-switch laser removes black, dark blue, green and red pigments within approximately 6-12 sessions based on the quality of the tattoo.

During the consultation and test patch your clinician will evaluate the ink colour, type and depth of your tattoo, along with your desired end result (complete removal or lightening prior to a cover up tattoo) for a comprehensive pricing and treatment assessment.

NOTE: IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TATTOO REMOVAL/REDUCTION SERVICE WITH URSK MEDISPA, YOU MUST FIRST HAVE A CONSULTATION/ TEST PATCH.

•So how does laser tattoo removal/reduction work?

Laser tattoo reduction/removal works by delivering concentrated energy to the ink particles within a tattoo. This breaks up the larger particles of ink into smaller particles, allowing your immune system to flush it out.

Each laser treatment works at a different depth within the skin, so multiple sessions (spaced 8-12 weeks apart) are required to target all the ink.

    •What sensation can I expect?

Tattoo removal isn't completely painless but it is over very quickly. Tattoo removal may feel more uncomfortable depending on the area on the body, density and colour of the ink, and varies from person to person.

To provide you with the best level of comfort during your service we assist with cooling pre and post treatment.

You may use a numbing cream 1 hour prior to your treatment, however we have found as the depth of removal can be deeper than numbing cream penetrates, icing the skin prior give the best results.

We also recommend to avoid caffeine prior to your treatment and make sure you have eaten.

    •Is there any downtime?

Downtime can range between 2-7 days depending on size and location of the tattoo.

Depending on the area treated, movement may be restricted and sensitive. Redness and swelling may be present.

We recommend planning your treatment when you are not going in the sun, swimming, sweating or are unable to cover the area to keep it clean.

•How many treatments will I need?

This all depends on the size, age, quality and colour of your unwanted tattoo. Some may need as little as six sessions to achieve a satisfying result, while others may require 12 or more to remove the tattoo up to 80%.

More treatments may be recommended to achieve up to 80% removal.

    •Do we offer packages?

Yes we do! We have packages of 3 sessions so you can add sessions as you require.

Larger tattoos may need to be done in sections where we can tailor a package to suit your needs.
